Off to Virginia Tech

It's some unearthly hour of the morning, and I'm waiting for Ben to finish dressing before we head out on the long drive south to Virginia Tech. They're hosting an open house specifically for prospective students interested in the engineering department, and Ben will be touring the facility, meeting with staff, and hopefully getting a sense of whether or not God might be leading him to pursue his collegiate education there. For me it will be a day with my son, dreaming of his future, talking about life, grabbing some junk food, etc. And the whole time he'll be in various presentations and tours, I'll be right there beside him, quietly praying for God's Spirit to lead. If you think of it, I'd appreciate your prayers for him on this journey as well. Thanks.
