Mmmm. Goodmorning...

I slept last night in my own bed in my own home. It was a deep, satisfying sleep. Woke up, stumbled to the bathroom (literally... there's this step-up thing from the bedroom into our bathroom and, well, you know, new house and all... *crash!*). Now I just have to figure out where I packed a bar of soap and a towel so I can take a shower.
It's really wonderful being here, and I feel so blessed. Yesterday a whole team of folks from Hope took time off to unload the truck, haul stuff up the hill, and get everything moved in. I am so grateful! It was a lot of work, but everyone had a "whatever it takes" attitude, and the work went quickly.
I spent some time last night finding everthing I needed to get our bed put together. We have one of those Select Comfort things, so the bed packs up into a box. I found all the stuff for the kids' beds, but had a dickens of a time finding the side pieces to ours. And, of course, it never occurred to me to just put one of the kids' beds together and sleep there...
Today I need to run into the office to take care of some stuff and bring home things I'll need to get ready for Sunday. Then I'll start sorting through some boxes. First up will be getting Margo's computer up and running, because the Internet guy comes tomorrow to hook us up. (Although, since I'm posting this, you may have guessed that one of our new neighbors has a very strong, very unsecured wireless port... I'll need to warn whoever it is once I meet 'em.) I also need to break into all the TV/stereo boxes and try to figure out that monstrosity since the TV guy hooks things up here tomorrow, too. I always get a headache remembering which cables go from which piece into which plug.
But, in the meantime, I'm looking out the window at the woods. There's a cardinal sitting on a branch right outside; he's beautiful. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. I feel so extraordinarily blessed. I think I'll go make a cup of coffee and sit out on the deck and read the Psalms for a while before getting going. I can hardly wait until Margo and the kids get here in the next couple of days to start enjoying all this with me.

So glad the move-in went smoothly with lots of help! What a gift to be able to sit and listen to the birds, enjoy the green surroundings, and read the Psalms! All that along with your cup of coffee, that might be like a taste of heaven! Enjoy!
What an Awesome God we have! I am so happy that God has provided you such a great environment for the next phase of your journey, or I guess His next phase for you? I will continue to pray that your family has safe travels and is again reunited with you and this time in your new home as a family. What a blessing. Take care and enjoy all that God has so graciously bestowed upon you and your family.
With God's Blessings...
