Waiting...

We're hoping to hear about an offer on our home today. Events have unfolded over the past couple of days that look like we should be hearing something very soon. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, since the last two offers fell through. But it's hard not to get excited. *sigh* Why is patience such an elusive character quality. Lord, I want patience. (And I want it now, please.)

Didn't anyone ever tell you never to pray for patience? When I did, God gave me a baby :) Now I really need it.

I always inwardly cringe when I pray for patience, but lately I've just asked God to "be gentle" when He teaches it to me...:) Hey, in the meantime, I tagged you in my blog to do a Ten Random Things list...whilst you are being patient, you can write said list! Really, you know Bri and I are praying our hearts out for you and Margo and your kiddos AND for your house to sell...now...today even...

Ditto with Stacy - not the Ten Random Things...but the prayers ~ I think Bo actually did say "today" in his prayer tonight. Bless you guys (we just ordered "Simple Church" ~ looking forward to reading it. :-))

Ah Yes.....Paitence...That ever so elusive creature that were ALWAYS waiting for..When it comes by, have it stop at my place too. Along with a little bit of Grace, a splash of forgivness. and 1 scoop of Laughter..Oh heck..Biggie size them all...I could use it!You are forever in my prayers my friend, May our Father give you peace and rest until "Paitence" arrives..
